Oh the weather outside is frightful.....so we took a trip to the mall.

It was a very exciting day today for Jacob! It was his first visit to Santa Clause. It was freezing outside so we got all bundled up and he went for a car ride with mom and dad. Considering how chilly it was (-39 with wind chill) I am surprised at how many people were there today...they must have been thinking the exact same thing as me. "it is stinkin' cold, there is NO way other people are going out today" I was wrong, and so were they! Regardless, we all had fun.  Ok, I am not going lie, I thought it would be a disaster...tears, screaming, etc. I was thinking we would get that "classic" screaming baby on Santa's knee photo. Is it bad to think that those pictures are the best? I just remember see a few like that and they totally made me laugh. Anyway, it was a great trip to the North Pole/Market mall. haha.  Jacob had no problem sitting on Santa's knee and posing for a picture. I really shouldn't have expected anything less...he is such a good kid and I am not just saying that. Anyway, maybe next year we will get the "classic" pose....
