As promised...

So, this post will have pictures! The last week has been pretty fun, the weather has co-operated for us, mostly. It was raining a LOT last week and we took a trip to the dollar store-and got a balloon. Jacob LOVES it, points to it and attempts to say "balloon" but it comes out more like "bayoo" which is adorable. So the other day we came in from playing outside and he was soaked becasue we played for the first time in our new water table so we stripped him down and he decided to play with the balloon....for a good 20 minutes. It worked out well becasue I was getting dinner ready.

So he sat on the stairs with it..

.

Took it for a walk
.

Decided he needed a rest after the walk

.
Read it some stories by the fireplace
.

And finally took a little nap.

Aww, I just love him and watching him be goofy and fun! It makes my day!

Jacob and mom in front of the Elephants! They were RIGHT there and we had lots of fun imitating them.

Here are the fish, I told you they were gross looking.

He doesn't care they are ugly, what a sweetheart!

Cousin Rockson and Jacob checking out the turtle from Madacasgar. Curious little guys.

His name is Sheldon. How clever!

Watching the gorilla's sleep. It was great becasue they were all very close! Adorable to watch them Moma and baby cuddling!

We also had a wonderful Father's Day! We spent time at church and then a family dinner with all the dad's and of course my beautiful mom who stepped up and was a dad too :) We have my Dad and our Grandpa's to remember in our hearts, however we are so grateful for the wonderful men we have in our lives that support influence us. We love you Pete, without you Derek wouldn't be the man and father he is today. Derek, You are the best father Jacob could ever ask for and we are so blessed to have you in our lives. Here are a few pictures taken in the past week of Father and son!

Racing around the kitchen, clearly Jacob loves it!

Haha! Relaxing with dad for a photo opt!
